• June 20th-21st - Rod is helping sponsor the Lake Eustis Area Chamber of Commerce Business Expo. This inaugural event will take place on June 20 and 21 at the WG Sports Center at 2001 S. Bay Street in Eustis. This Expo will bring together businesses, entrepreneurs, residents and community leaders for two days of networking, learning and celebration. With exhibitor booths, business panel discussions, business related classes for exhibitors, and health screenings provided by AdventHealth Waterman. Please stop by!

Locally, we serve cities of Eustis, Mt. Dora, Tavares, Grand Island, Umatilla, Sorrento, Seminole Springs, and Leesburg.

• Experience: I have worked for State Farm Corporate for 27 years before reaching my dream of becoming a State Farm Agent. I am into my 6th year as an Agent. I am very proud of my career path and the knowledge I bring to this office.

• Some Fun Facts about me – My parent’s immigrated from the Netherlands, became US Citizens and I was born in Miami, FL. I have lived in Florida my entire life. I love baseball, played Division 1 and even signed with a Major League Baseball Team and played 3+ years in the minors. I still play Racquetball competitively. I have been married for 33 years, and have 3 wonderful children.

• Another Fun Fact, I graduated from JU, my wife UNF, my oldest FSU, my middle attends UF, and my youngest plans to attend UCF. We have 2 amazing dogs, a cat, and assist with fostering animals.
